Was given four tickets and a primo tailgating pass for the Iowa @ Minnesota game in Minneapolis Saturday. D1B and I are going. I have no interest in the Hawks or Gophs, but I do want to make it to TCF Stadium this year and this is my last opportunity.

Am I a traitor to my FCS/UNI friends?

Traitor??? How does one make the trip to Leathertown one week to watch UNI and then stays home to watch the Gophers the next week and become a traitor? Besides being a big guy, you are a big part of what makes UNI football what it is!!

Anyone remember that news story from awhile back about the Hawk fans that got arrested for sexing it up in a bathroom at a Hawk/Gopher game?

Next week, there will be a news story about a drunk Hawk fan arrested for fellating a bunch of NDSU fans in a bathroom at a Hawk/Gopher game. Mumbling something about paying off a bet.

Yesterday we had the #17 Gopher Basketball team play the NDSU Bison, SA Spurs at the Timberwolves and Hottest team in the NHL Philadelphia Flyers play at the Wild. State HS Football playoffs this weekend. Undefeated DII Minnesota Duluth Football team has a playoff game at home. And we got hockey, 4 DI teams.

I'll be rooting for the Gophers and a huge upset ala' Northwestern, 30-24.

Reminds me of the Minnesota kid who petitioned the court to be removed from his home because his parents beat him constantly. The judge offered to let him live with his grandma, but the kid complained the granny beat him, too. The judge countered with an aunt, but once again, the kid claimed convincingly that the aunt beat him.

Finally the kid asked to be adopted by the Minnesota Golden Gophers, reasoning that the Gophers could not beat anyone.

The judge awarded custody to Minnesota.

Maybe Northern Manitoba, it was a nice fall until about 2 weeks ago. Haven't even heard about the first people going through the ice in their trucks yet.
