You fool! That's no field. That there is a PITCH!mcveyrl wrote:I think we're going to have to call it the 2010-11 Championship Season. But only one game's going to be played in '11, so I say we call it the 2010 Champions.
Also, won't it be difficult to play a football game without any lines on the field?

"FCS.. ya ya, we don't decide a champion on the field either, we decide it on a damn pitch"
I have always laughed (or cringed) at the fact that our championship is being promoted by a photoshopped soccer game.JayJ79 wrote:no football lines, or goalposts
and no soccer lines or goals either.
WTF are all those people doing there, watching the grass grow?
Texans are crazy
Which year do the bowl people use to refer to bowl victories that occur in January?
Whoever wins in Frisco will open the 2011 season next September celebrating their 2011 National Championship? I agree with you, 2010 makes a hell of a lot more sense.jd of de wrote:201093henfan wrote:So are we about to play the 2010 or 2011 playoffs? Just wondering.
Example-The '85 Bears won their Superbowl in Jan of '86 and the '72 Dolphins won their Superbowl in '73. The game will be 1/7/11 but it will be remembered as the '10 Blue Hens.
