MSU takes the AQ though
Good luck in the playoff eagles, hope we can both get a seed and not have to meet up unless its a neutral field

The way we're playing right now, I'll take that re-match.

So will I as long as it a neutral field in a warmer climate

Likewise. However EWU has the better loss in conference. You guys loss worse to an unranked team.
Let's wreck some havoc in the playoffs! Go Big Sky!

So how does that make you feel that you lost to us?

30-7 is a better loss
WTF is that, the moral equivalent of a win
Dont forget that your loss was to MSU, which is why WE have the AQ.

In the eyes of the committee, when comparing overall resumes, yes, a 30-7 loss to a 9-2 MSU team, is a much better loss than 34-7 to a 6-5 team. I don't give a shit about the AQ... I care about a seed.

Seriously? No need to make a spreadsheet. Head-to-head is FAR more important than anything else there.

It's called complete resumes, of which EWU has the better one. Lay off your crack pipe; head to head only matters in AQs and BJs.

In determining the AQ, not seeds.

Um im sorry to say Eagle fans but the head to head matchup will matter the most in this case. Regardless of your guys "resume" the fact is you got blown out by MSU and you two are the top of the conference. I dont understand how or why this is even being argued, MSU gets the AQ hands down.

No one is arguing who gets the AQ. Like I said, I don't care about that. What I'm arguing, and what MSU fans fail to see, is that when the committee is seeding the top 5 teams in the playoffs, they look at the teams' overall resume, and evaluate quality wins, losses, OOC schedule, road vs. home and point spreads, to pick the best 5 teams.

Ah, my bad

. However even then what i said still somewhat has merit as i do understand the committee will look at the overall schedule to see who should get the seed. But even then the fact is the Eagles got pretty soundly beaten by the Cats and the committee will take that into account more then the rest of the schedule. Head to head matchup comes first.

So will their 34-7 loss...
