6-4. Not 7-4.

Depends how all the other bubble teams finish today. If a bunch lose, then in, if not...well I think no.

Like SeattleGriz said it will probably depend on the other bubble games...but if a 3-point home win over Sac State is your best, that can't be a good sign. I say 90% likely to be out.

OUT

only 6 wins, without a real quality win.

Absolutely no chance whatsoever.

Some bubble teams pulled upsets (Villanova, WIU) to keep their hopes alive (Nova's almost certainly in). The Griz don't have 7 DI wins &, in the crazy chance a team without 7 DI wins makes it, UM will be nowhere near the top of that list. At least Cal Poly, Weber, & maybe Sac would be ahead of the Griz on that totem pole, & likely more.

Keep in mind the Griz just finished no better than FOURTH in the Big Sky (could be fifth if Weber jumps them in the Sagarins).

Corrected.

You're right I was counting their D2 win.

I see it more as a team that has completely changed it's scheme on both sides of the ball, but that means jack shit, and is obviously biased.

Still hoping for some luck.

Hope they're in, but they're probably out. Not really sure it matters anyway with the way they're playing. They may not make it out of the first round the way they're playing right now, even if selected.

Likely out. They would mean a third long airplane trip if three Big Sky teams are in. They appear to be the only teams from anywhere in the west that have much of a chance at a playoff spot.

Out. Period.

The Griz don't belong in the playoffs this year. :ohno:

I would think out, but if they got in, they could be dangerous. All of their losses they could lay it at their own feet with 3-4 turnovers in those games. Their defense is pretty decent once they make adjustments and Chase is a beast.

All the things the went right for the Griz for the last two decades just didn't happen this year.

Only if they cleaned up their turnovers.

I forgot that the Montana AD is the chairman of the playoff committee this year. He can't influence it, right? He has to leave the room when they discuss Montana?

Sac State will also be 7-4 with 6 D-1 wins if they win tonight and they will have won 4 in a row., unlike the griz who have lost 2 of 3.

6-5 with less than 7 D-1 wins equals watching on TV next weekend... if that is NOT then case then the entire playoff process as currently constituted loses all credibility.

Griz AD has to step out during discussions. There should be a lot of interesting conversations on those bubble teams, especially when you have a Montana team that usually produces a large bid and major fan support.
