I'm too lazy to google... what's the scoop with TV coverage for the playoffs this year?

App State will be on TV. Also some other teams here and there.

All games from the 2nd round on are either ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U or ESPN 3

Good find. Pg 36 has the full TV schedule. I'm on a Mac. so in true Adobe, that probably is Pg 19 of the Adobe document.

:thumb: Mrs89 is going away with her sisters on December 4 and leaving me with the kids (my 2 plus 2) and I may not be able to make UD's first round game.

There could be some killer first round matchups with the number of traditional powers with three and four losses.

Will be interesting to see how the play-in round goes down. Geography could have a LOT to do with it.

I could see the Liberty/Stony (Coastal doesn't have a chance at the tie-breaker, do they?) winner playing Robert Morris which would be like the Boise/TCU game last year, with the exception being the winner is still playing for it all. :thumb: Could also see a Montana/NDSU game in the first round. :|

I think it's fair to assume that: RMU, Liberty/Stony and Lehigh will all be playing in the first round. Bethune and JSU should be based on the MEAC and OVC's playoff drought, but they could escape because of their rankings. Any 7-4 CAA team that makes it should be playing first round. Who else?

That only lists 4 spots for 2nd round games, so that leads me to believe that the other 4 won't be televised.
Plus a game being on ESPN3 doesn't make it "televised", as that is an online stream. Though "ESPN syndication" might mean that local stations/cable companies might be able to pick up the feed to broadcast.

I could see the NCAA doing its best to avoid a NDSU Montana match up due to the amount of money they could make off of both of them.

ESPNU will be airing a first-round game on Nov 27th (Saturday) at 3:30pm.

It's also listed on the espn.com tv listings if you check the 27th.
