Who will be the better Cali addition to the BSC? My money's on the Mustangs. Let's get another West team in the playoffs!!!

Agreed. Poly is play-off caliber. If they win tonight, and Montana can't take care of business against the Cats, they risk being left out this year. Go Griz, anyway. :thumb:

Immediately, that is correct. I see CP being at least middle-of-the-pack to second-tier from the gun.

Long term, who knows? UCFE has had good teams in the past and could well adjust to the conference faster than UNC has. The fact that their rivalry game will mean something in terms of potential conference championships will cause them to recruit harder for local athletes.

I think Cal Poly will still do better long term. Not saying Davis won't do well, as I think they'll outperform UNC, ISU, and maybe PSU next year and the year after (a lot can change in two offseasons though), but I think Poly has the better staff and players right now.

UCD is down only 6 with not much time left, and they're at the CP 5...

5 wide...

Touchdown UCD!!!!

Tie game!

UCD leads with very little time left. Not sure the exact number.

22-21 Aggies.

Looks like :35 left, CP will take over.

KO return doesn't get much, CP with a HUGE hill to climb here. Only about 30 seconds to get into FG range.

Incomplete pass on first down.

Play probably took 7 seconds. (No clock on the webstream).

Mustangs need a HUGE play right here.

CP throws across the middle for an okay gain, but the WR is lit up. CP calls timeout.

3rd down...Sack!

Timeout, Poly.

4th down...

false start on Poly.

The QB scrambles after his protection breaks down, runs out of bounds, and UCD will take over with very little time left, and the Aggies will pull the upset and win the game.

The QB meekly went out of bounds on FOURTH DOWN with the game on the line?!?

That's a situation for Fran Tarkenton.
