Us footbgall alumni are invited to the lockerroom pre-game, I remember when the alumni came into our games reeking of beer and alcohol. I'm looking forward to sharing that memory with this group of future alums.

When the Tigers host Maine in their home finale on Saturday, they will be trying to draw a crowd of 5,506 to break their single season attendance record. In their first four home games, the Tigers have drawn 30,188 fans to Unitas Stadium, an average of 7,547 fans per game.
The single season attendance record was set in the 2007 season when 35,693 fans attended the Tigers' home games. The Tigers have drawn two of the top crowds in stadium history already this season.
"It has been brought to my attention that we are 5,506 fans away from setting an all-time single season attendance record," sais Coach Rob Ambrose. "With the passionate support of our loyal fans, I know we can surpass this mark and leave the seniors with a lasting memory of their final home game."
A special "Break the Attendance Record" link has been created where tickets can be purchased for only $8.00 each.

One would think if the team would win a game or two more poeple would come out and/or stay after halftime.

I remember playing up in Orono in November. It was cold, windy and misting. It was just warm enough not to snow or ice, but the wind froze the precip making the muddy bog of a field nice and crunchy.

In this game our true freshman QB threw seven, yes SEVEN interceptions. Danny Crowley, got inducted to the Towson HOF at the last home game, and he mentioned he still owns this NCAA record in his speech. I stopped chasing the interceptions after getting earhole for the third time, I was covered in mud.
I was strictly in contain mode from there on out.

It will be a better game than Cornell-Princeton was, that's for sure!

We went 1-10 in 1991. That year sucked. I hope the 2010 team doesn't experience what it feels like. It galvanized us as a team though. We went 5-5, 8-2 and 8-2 in the next three seasons. If Towson does go 1-10 this year let's hope it's a sign of history repeating itself.
