Seriously....5th? Not that it matters, but dropping 4 spots to number 5 due to losing at ranked Ga South in OT? That's harsh....

GS wasn't ranked at the time.

I wouldn't be as upset about the 4 spots as the lack of #1 votes....

GSU is not ranked.

Where did you expect to be? Thats a pretty standard drop.

Delaware dropped from 2nd to 5th in TSN when we got our first and only loss to W&M by one point on their field when a last second field goal to win went about three feet wide left.

I don't think App State is getting treated too harshly. You only dropped two spots in TSN.

Didn't strike me as an unusual drop either. Normally it goes about 3 or 4 spots.

As opposed to teams like Jacksonville who has no quality wins and is non scholarship... scratching my head at UNH and Richmond being ranked too.

Looks like the key to being ranked is to play in the CAA and have less than 5 losses... SMFH

Maybe you're right. I watched, saw it missed left and turned off the TV. I'm not a big FG rewind kind of guy.

Wofford beat GS, you guys lost to them. Since you both have 1 loss (their's an FBS loss) the rankings seem about right. So beat them this Saturday and you'll move up at least 1. Lose and you're looking at being ranked 10th or so after your date with Florida...

The 57 came up with something similar, and I question that as well...

Let's count the excuses 93henfan makes...

1- Delaware dropped from 2nd to 5th in TSN when we got our first and only loss to W&M

2- by one point

3- on their field

4- when a last second field goal to win

5- went about three feet wide left.

Upon reflection, believe you are all righht regarding this....was expecting 2nd or 3rd place so 5th was a surprise, but a completely valid drop given nobody else in top 5 lost to unranked opponent... :thumb:

I actually pulled it up yesterday... it did have the distance, but it was such a God awful looking kick from a kid who has been solid all year, it just seemed like it never had a shot. :(
