Who will be the five playoff seeds

I would guess the CAA AQ and #2 team will get seeds. The Big Sky AQ will get one, and #2 Big Sky depending on what shakes out elsewhere may have a chance at another seed. Southern AQ will get one, maybe two. Ohio Valley will get one. Southland?

Seeds don't matter. The Griz will be #1 when it counts: after the Chipper is over!

??

That doesn't help anyone in the Big Sky at all, in fact it would just make your SoS weaker.

If you want them to lose because you don't like 'em, fine. But it won't help any other Big Sky team.

He/she is probably a UM fan and is hoping against hope for EWU to lose and the Griz to win out so the Conference Title streak can continue.

Kind of the wrong thread for SUU talk, they won't, but should ;), be getting a seed. SUU, as I have been spouting off for a couple years now, is up an coming and will be dominating teams in the very near future.

I want them to lose so if the Bobcats win, the Bobcats will have an unquestionable seed and home field advantage for a few games. Translation, EWU loses then I may get to see more of the Bobcats in person at home. Course if both teams win out I still think the Bobcats get a seed, due to the Bobcats wining the AQ and the head to head.

Not only that but the Cats would be the outright Big Sky Champions then and not have to share it with the iggles.

then we can all check blackfalkins sig

Give me a break. Has any of the west coast bias group actually gone to a MEAC game? Seeding BCU would simply repeat the debacle of undefeated Hampton being seeded a few years back. or picking Weber State to go to William and Mary etc........

Wrong. If both schools finish with the same conference record, then they share the BSC title. It's happened with two or more teams shit-loads of times. The only area that the head to head comes in is for the auto-bid.

If we lost to SUU, it wouldn't matter in terms of MSU winning the BSC outright... only if we lose to ISU, which albeit possible, isn't going to happen.

Yeah I was thinking of EWU losing to ISU, you do remember that ISU has a tradition of winning their last game dont you?

Considering the remaining schedules for all of the contenders it's not too difficult to see a scenario where we both get seeded. :thumb:

I agree, the CAA possibly will beat themselves up and only get one seed. I am unfamiliar with some of the weaker conferences out east so dont know if an undefeated or one loss team from weaker conferences will warrant a seed over the Big Sky.

Right now...

#1 W&M
#2 Montana State
#3 Wofford
#4 Delaware
#5 AppSt or EWU

There really aren't 5 that are worthy.

My five seeded teams would be Jacksonsville State, Delaware, EWU, William & Mary and App State. If Wofford beats App this weekend they would take the Mountaineers seed.

I think so. 30-7 win over EWU... that doesn't make it a lock, but why would you be so surprised?

Because after Montana beats MSU, EWU will be the autobid.

Ahhh, well then, yes. I was going on the assumption that the favorite will prevail in the Brawl. ;)
