Why can't ESPN put the FCS on TV?

We get Buffalo and Ohio????? Are you kidding me? Would it have killed them to move up the JMU/Richmond game to friday? Full house with two better teams to watch.....

I agree completely. The FCS has done a poor job of getting on TV. Meanwhile, there are hundreds of high school games on ESPN every week.

Oh, they CAN put FCS on TV. They just choose to believe that we don't exist until the Chipper, and even that's a condescension for them.

You have to look at your conferences first. If the MEAC and SWAC can get tv deals with ESPN I'm sure other leagues can too. Although Thursday night games aren't that great IMO. I wouldn't trade a Saturday game for a Thursday game

Thursday night football was created for 1-AA football, but awful ratings forced the network to start showing name schools.
