I like that set up for UNI.

Would MSU really outbid UNI? I didn't think they had much of a following out there.

I like that too... that would be epic... sending SFA to Cheney this time. Although I don't see how three 9-2 CAA teams all get seeds over a 9-2 Big Sky.

Ignores travel restrictions, but whatever. Heaven forbid TSN take time to make sure things are correct.

Long story short....no.
UNI's AD has said he will outbid anyone in the country if he has too. I don't think we could out bid Montana, App State, or UD...but those are the only three I don't see us outbidding.
They likely put MSU at home because they are higher ranked right now.

In that scenario, it'd have to be Lehigh/UMass and LU/RMU due to bus trips. And I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA bumped Wofford or BCU down to the first weekend so there could be a bus trip for Jacksonville to travel to.

They don't. TSN hasn't been close all year, why start now?
IF the Hens are 9-1 and Nova 8-2 in a couple weeks, that game will be for a seed, but no way to both get one.

I don't know that we could outbid UNI. We've probably been averaging 13,500 to 14,000 per home game.
edit to add: next year we should have an expansion to the stadium completed by football season that would add 2,500 to 5,000 seats, depending on the fundraising and bids.

The attendance numbers are about the same
MSU 14309
UNI 14275

UNI has been around 14,500 per game. However, with Iowa and Iowa State's regular season over, an 8-3 UNI team, which would likely be top 10 in the nation, would likely draw 16K for the game. Our AD seems to be okay with bidding more than we would be able to recoup. That is how important home games are to him

Though the pairings are off as previously stated, the field itself isn't bad. I had 19 of the same teams.

North Dakota St @ Montana
I'd take that

I wouldn't even pretend to expect to know what would happen in that game

SFA @ EWU..............
God, how I would love to see this re-match.
Wouldn't mind another re-match with App State, either.

That, or Chris just got Moses and his teammates drunk the night before.

Yeah that picture made ESPN last year.
I'd like to say "stupid players"...but that one was on the coaches.

I never quite heard the whole story - did they actually got tossed that night, or did they just have a little and peaced out? Either way, stupid decision making on their part - go out after you get a win first.
