How much is a standing room only vs a regular seated ticket?

I thought attendance padding was restricted to the "pros."

15k +/- at GSU yesterday... looks like the GSU students would rather travel to Jacksonville to watch two also rans full of thugs play for nothing instead of their own team play for its season.

SMFH... :ohno:

4063 for Portland State against Eastern Washington. Pretty good for how cold and damp it was and also with the Ducks and Trail Blazers playing at the same time.

What's the current capacity at Bridgeforth? I was surprised to see it was not full.

It's listed at around 16,000. I'm not sure how that 16,664 got counted, though. They were selling returned tickets at 1:30, but there weren't supposed to be many of those. I had several friends that could not attend but they all sold their tickets on Madison Marketplace.

The most frustrating thing for me were the students that left at halftime. Student section was full for the first half and a dead zone during the second half.

Maybe those were the empty seats I saw.

Yea, I wasn't sure when you saw it. I think we had some empty seats on our side (new side) for most of the game. It probably looked worse than it was. Even with the good sight lines, everybody starts filling in the middle. In fact, we weren't sitting in our normal seats which are further towards the end zone.

Yeah, there were gaping holes throughout the stands in that second half, and that was before JMU started going in the tank. UD can't get their students to show up at all - JMU can't get their's to stay. Kids today. :ohno:

No, and they have ticket hawks at each entrance, but with some creative ticket practices you can sit with people that have space around them.

We sat with friends that had two extra tickets, but we needed three. Three of us went in, I took three out and we all came in. So long as there's enough space, I don't feel too bad about that.

That's what I didn't get. It was only 14-3. The students that stayed were loud, but it had to be a little dispiriting for the players to see so many leave.
