Are you kidding me? Presby by a field goal? I hope SBU is looking past LU like you are. I have LU winning by a few TD's for sure. As much as I'd love to see CSU beat up on SBU I don't see it happening because 1)your transfers 2)you're at home. I'ma say SBU by 10. I agree with GWEB by 10. And Army by 31

Liberty always have that 1 game a year, I guess RobertMorris was that let down, but then again Robert Morris is a pretty good team. I think presby can catch them sleeping @ home. It will b a close game regardless don't see Liberty winning by more than 2 scores, IF they win.

SB vs Charleston Southern - SB wins by 13 they looked GOOD vs Coastal but coastal is helping people look good this year.

Liberty @ Presby - LU by a boat load. Talent level is worlds apart and they will be ready for "stupid hose" revenge

GWeb vs CCU - GWU by 1 TD. GWU will get back on track and kick the Chickens while they are down.

VMI @ Army - Army by 24. Sorry VMI, no QB + no offensive line = losing most of your games.

SB vs Charleston Southern - SB by a couple of TDs. CSU is not a very good team right now and I wondered all along why they were getting so much pre-season hype. In fairness, I saw them after their starting QB went down, but I still didn't see much worth looking at except for Gerald Stevenson. [SB - do not kick to Stevenson. He will beat you.]
Liberty @ Presby - Liberty by three tds. PC will be riding high after catching my GW Runnin' Bulldogs asleep at the wheel last week. I'm sure LU will be ready to play and PC is pretty one dimensional [they like to run]. I still expect PC to win another BS game this year so the rest of you better watch out.
GWeb vs CCU - Coastal comes to Boiling Springs for a game that usually favors the Chanticleers. GW's success will depend on who we are able to put on the field injury-wise. I'd also like to see our younger players show some newly found confidence now that they have played several games. I'll take my Runnin' Bulldogs by a FG.
VMI @ Army - VMI by a TD. I don't know why.

Go Runnin' Bulldogs!

SBU @ Charleston Southern

This ship is sinking fast for CSU...they went from a legitimate top 3 contender to bottom of the pack and falling quickly. SBU got their ship righted against my preseason third place team in CCU and I think the Seawolves get the win and keep marching along

SBU 34 CSU 17

Liberty @ Presbyterian

Until last weekend teh Flames were the answer to a trivia question...name the last team the Blue Hose beat in football...two years later the Flames return to Clinton and hope to exact some additional payback (after crushing PC 55-19 in Lynchburg last year)...The Flames do not forget their last trip and they are not going to overlook teh Blue Hose and get the win

LU 41 PC 0

Gardner-Webb @ Coastal Carolina
The Runnin Bulldogs' homecoming was spoiled last week by the Blue Hose who picked up an upset win last week to end a 20 game losing streak while teh Chants were slapped around by Stony Brook. one of these teams will still be in line for the Big South autobid with a few games to go. G-W rights the ship and keeps their playoff hopes alive

G-W 21 CCU 17

VMI @ Army

Last year the Keydets kept it close with the Black Knights in this military classic as we celebrate the men and women who have pledged to pay the ultimate price for our freedom...If the Keydets can build off their progress from the win over CSU last week they may be able to pull an upset...

USMA 28 VMI 20

SB over CSU by 2 scores - CSU seems to have lost its way after losing their starting QB.

Liberty over PC by 3 TDs - It would make me very happy to be the team (or one of them) that keeps LU out of the playoffs this year but I just don't see it happening; though we play decent defense, our O still dosen't really have an identity.

GW over CCU - I think GW bounces back and wins by a TD. Coastalfans.com has a meltdown as a result!

VMI over Army - don't think it will be really close ecen though Army is pretty bad; something like 30-10.

SB by 20 (CSU has laid down and quit)
LU by 42 (if CCU beat them there by 28, why not?)
CCU by 11 (Bennett has owned Patton since his Catawba days)
Army by 28 (Army playing halfway decent ball this season)

SB vs Charleston Southern: Stony Brook by 14-the wheels have come off for CSU
Liberty @ Presby: Liberty by 17-what happened 2 years ago is still in the minds of many players and they don't want it to happyen again.
GWeb vs CCU-Costal by 7 since they're at home
VMI @ Army-Army by 24, no offense to the Keydets but Army is just better

GW is at home against CCU - does that change your mind any?

Charleston Southern at Stony Brook

CSU 20
SBU 16

I'm just playing the percentages here. The streak has to end some time. I have no reason to believe that it will actually happen this weekend at Stony Brook. My Bucs are struggling right now, no doubt. They historically don't perform well on the road. We'll see. It has definitely been a very disappointing season, probably the most disappointing season of the Jay Mills' era. That's not to say it is his fault. You will NEVER hear me question Coach Mills or his staff. I place this disappointing season squarely on the shoulders of the players.

Liberty at Presbyterian

CCU @ GWU - GWU by 1

VMI @ Army - Army by 20

Here's hoping the Dawgs and staff figured out a better plan for the passing game this week with either quicker throws or some extra protection, if for no other reason than to keep our QB from getting slammed a 1/2 dozen or more times. Most of GWU's decent runs were inside PC's outside pass rush last week. Regardless of G-Dubb's QB situation this week, maybe there will be a bit more focus on the run, maybe on short yard situations on 2 or 3rd down that we go under center and run a little power game in lieu of snapping the ball 5 yards off the line of scrimmage, I dunno but you gotta figure CCU saw the way from PC last week to get pressure on our QB.

I dont think we can take CSU lightly. They have always played us tough. Two years ago I really felt for their kicker. We won by 1 point but their kicker hit the uprights 3 times. I dont think he could ever do that again if he tried. So due to dumb luck we won . CSU will be ready I'm sure. Weather is forecasted as sunny in the 60's light breeze. So couldnt ask for a better day.
Good luck to everyone this weekend. Safe trip home !

Good, solid win by SBU today. They let CSU get to them initially (with some help of getting a TD called back and a FG blocked, missing another FG) - but settled down and ran up the score. By the end of a game there was hardly a running play that was held below 7 yards.

Coulter's best game of the year - no sacks on clean plays, solid gains on each pass. Liking our trends going forward.

Presby next....

SBU and LU are still on collision course...if the autobid comes down to that game I expect a high flying, high scoring affair

Ummm, we outgained them by 300 yards, held the ball almost 40 minutes, and they scored on a late, ridiculous scramble by their QB to make it look closer. After halftime, there was no doubt who was in control. In fact, had we not given them 2 short fields off of turnovers, it could have been 40something - 10. The upset was only close to happening in the 2nd quarter, but LU is a second half team this season. So don't get too excited even if SBU is hanging with LU after 2 periods.

Hopefully we both stay healthy and unbeaten going into November 20th. Should be a good one.
