I Love BCF because..............

After spending weeks singing the praises of the second coming (our Freshman QB) we finally admit that our Offense sucks, Arndt is getting nowhere because our least amount of depth is the O line and we have several injuries. So the kid is getting rocked and rolled. Now they (on BCF) are saying he will not stay with us and will transfer after the season.
Some of it is valid. No one talks to him on the sidelines. It's sad in a way. The WR's, etc, congregate around Hawkins when the D is on the field. It's not a good thing and probably is part of some of the issues the O is having. Word is, most of the receiving corps would rather have Hawkins out there. Don't know how true that "word" is but even being a rumor is not a good thing.
I know I've been hard on him but it's not what most on BCF think I am saying. I was trying to point out that we needed to get some PT for a back-up....in case something happened. Hawk played like 2 series against UH, before he was pulled. Since then he has had 1 play... I think it was against SUU. Now Arndt has a sprained knee and Hawkins will likely have to start against SFA.
Arndt is a great kid, will be a great QB. Yes, he needed to get acclimated to the college game but I think they thrust the team on him way too soon and I am not sure how to feel about all of it at this point. I mean, really, if the team is not even talking to him and his 'go to' guys would rather it was the other QB, how would you feel?
Would you fall into the category that thinks he'll take his ball and play for someone else?
