Ouch, beating #1 and #3 in the most recent games gets you #5 for losing to #26 in week 1....

A narrow loss on the road to Montana moves NAU ahead of EWU with a narrow win at home against SAC.

I think the top 10 should look something like this...after that it's a crap shoot!

Just making the point that they actually dropped 5 spots...which they should have.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I think NAU is a good team with a really good defense.

Their run "D" is absolutely ridiculous!

We had a couple big runs...Other than that, they completely shut our run game down.

Yes - other than those two big runs - nothing.

Couldn't score from 1 and goal on the one.

Let's not forget that our rushing game has been virtually non-existent all season. :coffee:

Well, I am not privy to Jeff Sagarin's formulas, but I know that W&M beat my team yesterday, and so I will have them just ahead of my team on my ballot tonight.

Weber State is at 37 after beating Portland State ranked at 34. What would do that? Does the computer put that much on to date schedule?

Conference rankings (using Sagarin's 1-2-3-4-3-2-1 style of weighting)

1. Big Sky 72.4
2. CAA 72.7
3. Great West 75.2
4. MVFC 83.6
5. SoCon 91.8
6. Southland 125.4
7. IAA Independents 144.0
8. NEC 182.0
9. OVC 184.0
10. Ivy 193.9
11. Patriot 196.1
12. Big South 217.0
13. SWAC 258.6
14. MEAC 286.4
15. Pioneer 290.3

Straight Average Ranking:

1. CAA 28.4
2. MVFC 29.7
3. Big Sky 30.4
4. SoCon 36.8
5. Great West 41.4
6. Southland 48.1
7. OVC 63.6
8. NEC 67.0
9. IAA Ind. 71.5
10. Ivy 78.0
11. Patriot 85.4
12. SWAC 86.3
13. Big South 90.6
14. Pioneer 91.5
15. MEAC 99.4

The Great West benefits greatly from having only 5 teams in the weighting method.
