I just bought 5 for my wife, brother, and parents on the home side.

I also noticed that they've restricted tailgating to no more than 3 hrs before the game. Not that I'll be getting crazy with my parents there, but I'm not sure how that would fly at a lot of schools.

Well the ticketing site is showing the tickets to be $28. I'm not sure which section to choose. The general admission tickets appear to suck but I can choose from Level 1 section K of the Purple Reserve. I guess that's where I'll be sitting.

Nothing like raping your western NC brothers and sisters to improve cash flow.

In the case of The Whee, I guess **Incest is r e a l l y best**

There's a $2 "convenience" fee....

ahhh yes, convenience fees, charging more because it is less work for them when the customers order online.
Very convenient.

:o I didn't balk about the $30 tix, but this is just downright unacceptable. :tothehand: 3 fokking hrs to tailgate? WTF? I won't even be into my 2nd case.....

I know what you mean. You can't limit a Mountaineers drinking time! :ohno:
Charging ASU higher ticket prices? Western is such a joke.

How serious is this tailgating policy??? Can we not get in parking lot before 12?? If so that is stupid. Help us out. Seems like last time the Apps played at western we got there very early and started.

Just consider it a "sprint" this week instead of a "marathon." Wish I could be in Dullowhee this week, but can't make it. Be sure to drink one for your ole boy ASUMountaineer!

Same here, wish I could make it this weekend, chug a couple for me. I'll be watching it on SoCon Saturday and muting it, I can't stand listening to Sam Wyche's call. I'll take David Jackson and Brownie anytime over those Sportssouth guys, hopefully there won't be a delay.

Grow up. Every ticket is that price here in Montana...or more.

There are many FBS programs who vary the price of their tickets based on demand, so it's not that unusual, I suppose.

Not real sure what it has to do with growing up...

I think the issue is not that the price is $30, its that the price is almost double for this game only compared to other games. I also don't see it as a supply/demand issue. Its not as if they were in any danger of selling out. Having said all that, each person is free to make the choice if they want to attend or not. You're not being forced to go. I'm sure that if anybody else in the conference actually had a travelling fan base, we would do the same.

Grow up? Anyways, we're not in Montana, so I guess that means we're not used to such prices for the Western Carolina product. Or perhaps, "too young" to understand $30 ticket prices.

I personally don't care what they charge, we know we're West Carolina's daddy...glad they realized it too. I do think it's funny to see a public school mention "supply/demand" considering their football program is subsidized by every taxpayer in NC regardless of their "demand" to watch a 2-win team play.

Yes, I would understand paying $30 for a ticket to a Montana game. The product is there. It is not in Cullowhee.
Just the fact that they up the price for ASU coming to town...
Can't grow up, I'm a six year college student.

Poor choice of words, sorry.

Every place Montana plays, road games, the tix are jacked up. Complaining does nothing.

Yeah, we should probably take it as a compliment. I just see it as our "rivals" trying to take advantage. :x

Grizzaholic speaks the truth. Here are a few of the creative marketing programs implemented by the opposition when hosting the Griz:

Several years ago Eastern require purchase a 3 game mini-season pass in order to get ticket to Griz game.
2010 Griz at PSU: Ticket $60, but you get a free ticket to an remaining PSU home game.
2010 Griz at EWU: Join the EAA for $120, to get the right to purchase (2) $40 tickets for the Griz game.
