I believe that is what he meant.SumItUp wrote:First FCS player invited for 2011??
Yes. I usually assume people know I am talking about the current year. I would have put first ever player invited if I did not mean for the current year and meant as in first in history.SumItUp wrote:First FCS player invited for 2011??
Usually 2-8, depending on how good the FCS talent is that year.dgreenwell3 wrote:Guy looks like he will surely be in the NFL...Someone inform me, how many FCS players get invited yearly?
There are a few. I think Kenrick Ellis, Mark LeGree, Matt Szczur, Korey Lindsey, Pat Devlin, David Arkin, and Will Rackley all have a shot at getting an invite. Szczur and Devlin have struggled this year with injuries so it will be interesting to see if the high grades they got from the NFL in the spring get them an invite anyway. I would be surprised if Ellis does not get an invite. Lindsey is 50/50 I would say but he truly is the best CB in FCS and deserves that shot.CatMom wrote:Congrats![]()
Who else would you even consider for them to be looking at...if they were to pick another guy or two or three?
I think TXST has 2 on their roster for future consideration. One is a junior and the other is a RS freshman. None worthy this year. I think our last one was Nealy?
Actually I have a did you know for you. Did you know that LeGree is ahead of his pace on picks at this point in the season compared to his last two years? He had an interception earlier this year than ever before. It was surprising Citadel threw somewhere in his vicinity so it will be interesting to see if the rest of their opponents throw his way or stay away from him at all.AppStateAlumQC wrote:It's always great to see some FCS players get the opportunities to showcase their talents on a national stage. Hopefully LeGree gets an invite as well even though his stats have been down a little this season.
