Sac @ EWU
UNC @ MSU
PSU @ WSU

2007 EWU 38, Sac 30 (Sac)
2008 Sac 15, EWU 13 (Cheney)
2009 EWU 56, Sac 30 (Sac)

2003 UNC 14, MSU 10 (Bozeman) - UNC was DII
2006 MSU 13, UNC 10 (Bozeman) - UNC joins Big Sky
2007 UNC 16, MSU 13 (Greeley)

I think the home teams will all hold serve with the NAU@UM being the closest game.

Those crazy games of 1980 and 2007 (scores in the 60s and 70s) came with PSU playing the Run and Shoot offense. It ain't that way anymore. The Pistol PSU now runs is a much more sedate game. Assuming we can control Higgins, it'll be more like 31-21, PSU on top.

I've cast my votes, but will wait until the predictions thread is up to elaborate. :thumb:

I wanna see the voting results :(

Mostly to see how many of the NAU picks are from Griz fans and how many are from Bobcat fans

PSU over WSU - WSU has had a huge fall off from last year so far, no reason to expect them to clean up their act now.
MSU over UNC - MSU's defense is banged up so UNC does have a chance, however I think the Bobcats will come out and take their anger out on UNC.
NAU over UM - If NAU plays anywhere near the level they did last week, they will be hard to stop. That coupled with UM sloppiness and they have a good chance at winning in Missoula.
Sac over EWU - Homer pick, kind of. This is a toss up but if TJ does his thing, EWU should win. I just hope the Hornets used the bye week well and found some way to contain/stop/slow TJ down. This should be a good one.

PSU/WSU could go either way; I give it to WSU since its at home.
I don't see how UNC beats MSU
NAU can win but I think it requires UM to have high turnovers like they did against EWU
Sac over EWU if The Inferno will allow it...Sac will have to shut down TJ because he's got to be back to 100%. WSU was the only team that had it easy against EWU since TJ didn't play but we still lost.

I don’t think TJ is 100%, however whatever percent he is at is still effective. This guy is scary good if he can still run circles around defenses when not at full health.

I don't know. UNC lost a very close one to EWU and they might be very "angry" as well. So, maybe it will come down to who is ANGRIER.

How about more talented angry players? Will that add clarity?

Just by basis of the votes here, it looks like Sac @ EWU will be the game of the week. That may not have as much an effect on who goes to the playoffs as other games, but if the votes are flat even, it's likely to be a great game regardless of who wins.

Maybe - or maybe all the Montana, MSU, and NAU posters are really hoping Sac takes EWU down - I.E. why Sac currently has 2 more votes for winning this one than EWU does. It has been happening just about every week - we're always picked to lose on these polls - but hey, no one ever said these things were unbiased.

I agree, though, this should be a really close game - I could easily see either team winning it. :thumb:

If EWU beats Sac State and PSU beats WSU, PSU will vault over Sac State into 5th place. This is truly a screwy conference this year.

So Sac would drop down due to losing to the #1 BSC team? I don't follow. However if the Hornets don't show up and lose big, I can see that.

I really hope Sac beats EWU...but I don't see that happening.

A reverse of last week's votes for me, going all home team this week.

Hey, SD, I was referring to the BSC standings. If you lose and we win, you'd be at 2-3 and we'd be at 2-2. Not much of an edge, I'll admit, but still, it'll show in the standings. Doesn't mean a thing, of course. For all I know we'll end up 2-7, though that seems very unlikely.

By the way, UO beat UCLA tonight 60-13. UO beat us 59-0. We should be ranked alongside UCLA, I guess.

Got it. I had J’s power rankings in mind when I read your post.

Stop picking MSU. We don't handle having a target on our backs very well, apparently. :hide:

We did reverse psychology on NAU for ya. Inflated their egos and padded their stats for em and BOOM prime for a let down.
