Is anybody worth a crap?

Sure seems like supposedly good teams/programs are struggling all over the country this year.
The BSC and MVFC are just messy. A punter beat a good CAA team today. Indiana St has 4 wins.

We're 6-0 and held our opponent to 0 yards passing today. That's right, ZERO.

Hey now, I think Indiana State has been an up and coming program for a while like 10 years or so...tic...no I think ISU is here to stay...we have the right people in place...and I think you will see all ISU programs be successful this year...

Actually, the punter had a concussion from last game so Richmond used their 4th string QB (True freshman). He only passed the ball on the last drive and led the team down for a TD to win by a few points.

And Freakin' Chatty is 4-2, 3-1 in the SoCon. And Bethune Cookman is in the drivers seat of the MEAC. And JMU beats Virginia Tech and falls out of the playoff picture. Get down on the ground and praise Jesus, the apocalypse is at hand.

NDSU has 4 wins too including an FBS but the MVFC continues to befuddle The Herd.
The BISON end up in the same place all the time. They dont know how to win. They are in a position to win most games they play. Because every team is so good the margin of victory is razor thin. Yesterdays game was no different. We made breaks for the RedBirds and naturally a very good team like the RedBirds will prosper. We have seen that week after week. In fact Im surprised when it doesnt happen. That is the one thing that has to change. The team has to play disciplined, mistake free ball. All the other pieces are there.

UD is 7-0, still hasn't allowed a single point in both the 1st and 4th quarters all season.

Meh. Old Dominion gave up 0 yards passing AND 0 yards rushing last week.
What? Who did we play?
We were idle.
OK. Carry on.

We are...... for several plays each game. Usually followed up by a fumble

That sounds about like UNI.
Seriously though, it looks like it's UD, App, then everyone else.

On the surface that may seem like quite an accomplishment, but when you take a closer look you get a different picture. The Citadel has a few other outings this year which were almost as impressive with 3 completions against Arizona, 2 against Presbyterian, and 2 against UTC. On the season The Dogs have completed 24 of 76 for 355 total yards, getting 233 (66%) of 'em against Chowan (127) and Western (106).

I couldn't agree more. I am going to the next 2 Griz games so don't think I am still not a die hard Griz fan. The NAU game will be an 8 hour drive each way. I have finally come to terms that we just aren't very good this year and I am not going to abandon ship but it doesn't mean we can't be honest and critical about where we are right now.

JMU is struggling...the defense is good enough to fight for a NC but the offense has not gotten it together and there is no clear solution. JMU can beat anyone or lose to anyone on the schedule at this point.
When this happens fingers start pointing, coach, QB, O-line...all three? 3 and out on the first posession of a series is putting our defense on their heels too much, too often
