I know that getting home cooking in Nacogdoches sucks so I can understand the shot at the officiating. Oh yeah the game was at the hole. Be like everbody else and say you unimpressed with Moses and they defense is bad. We also have character issues and our new mascot is not nearly as buff as the last one. The list continues. We went on a 90 something drive to win a tough road game. I think the guys deserve the recognition.

I watched that game too and seriously, there was holding that was missed (both teams). But, it's SLC refs and they miss a lot. It's a known fact these guys are in training for the Big XII and they suck. Don't get all bent, they missed holding in our game too, on both sides. They also called PI when there wasn't and didn't call it when there was and missed a horse collar almost right in front of one of them. It's nothing new to the fans of SLC teams to get frustrated with the officiating crew at almost every game. I know I do...and not just a TXST involved one, either. I watch the SLC game of the week if TXST is not playing at the time.

Looking back at the posts prior to yours I have to assume your response is to me. My comment was directed against the officials who have sucked for both of our conference games (against both the home and visiting team). The SFA line was holding (and I am sure McNeese was too) and when you are trying to get to a passing QB with a quick release non calls on holding are killers. That did not lose the game for McNeese, the ultimate cause was not being able to get a first down on the last possession. Moses did what he was expected to as a 4 yr starting senior.

And if you do not think holding was going on, well, you count em and be the judge

Maybe SFA's Oline should go coach the Dallas Cowboy Oline to teach them how not to get called for holding. But seriously non calls happen all the time. Part of the game. There are more important things to worry about than to sit here and argue on a board about non calls. I really have no clue what brought the discussion up. Just thought I'd throw in some jackass statement to keep things lively in here.

My picks for the week:

South Alabama @ Lamar - South Alabama. Lamar has had a couple tough weeks. Getting creamed by SFA/SAM. Barely beating Langston last week.
McNeese @ LSU - Going with McNeese for the upset (spread wise). LSU wins the real game but McNeese wins me some money.
Nicholls @ TXST - TXST wins big. Starters won't see the field in the second half. Unless Harper is coaching them this week than they'll play the entire third quarter before getting a rest.
SLU @ SAM - SLU (shouldn't it be SELA instead of SLU. Isn't SLU a private university in Missouri.) SELA goes into Huntsville and steals one from SAM.
UCA @ SFA - SFA WIll be a close game in the first half before SFA pulls away in the second and wins 49-28.

Actually, our preference is to not use acronyms period, but if necessary, we prefer SLU over SELU, SELA, etc...the only reason our website is "selu.edu" is because slu.edu and southeastern.edu were already taken.

Ok that makes sense. Everytime I hear SLU I think of Saint Louis University.
