Awesome shot!! If I'm that guy, I have it made into a poster and tell everybody I scored...McNeese72 wrote: Good try but no score.

Great pics, but why are the helmets so beat up? Delaware doesn't buff out/smooth/paint the helmets after every game?
No they don't, and I personally do not like it. Bandl probably does though.∞∞∞ wrote:Great pics, but why are the helmets so beat up? Delaware doesn't buff out/smooth/paint the helmets after every game?
Are you two nancy boys kidding me!?! Why would you want to buff out your battle scars? The guy lining up against you sees those scars and knows he's about to get hit in the teeth.93henfan wrote:No they don't, and I personally do not like it. Our highest visibility game last year was against Navy and the helmets looked really bad in HD. One of our running backs, Jerry Butler, had the whole right half of his wing missing before kickoff. It has to be a conscious decision on somebody's part, because it's not like the program is hurting for money. Hell, I'd paint the helmets for free if they would waive my UDAF donation requirement.
Really? Why did Navy beat us then?andy7171 wrote:Are you two nancy boys kidding me!?! Why would you want to buff out your battle scars? The guy lining up against you sees those scars and knows he's about to get hit in the teeth.93henfan wrote:

Why wouldn't I like it? You are supposed to use your body as a spear when tackling, and your head/helmet is the point of that spear. I don't want my opponent to be able to see his pretty little reflection in my helmet, I want him to see the blood and teeth marks from his teammate who I just destroyed.93henfan wrote:No they don't, and I personally do not like it.
