My argument is:
I mean,
East vs West games are rare enough...so how rare is a
East Coast vs. West
Coast FCS game? We're talkin' literally the coasts...
Agree? Disagree? What are your nominations?

VERY rare. I remember Sac vs Hofstra a couple of times in the mid-'90s. Other than that, it's just whatever the playoffs throw at you.
I agree that this will be big game.

That is rare enough that it is hard to disagree with, however, I don't think travel distances makes for a GOTW. What if Maine went to San Diego, would that be a GOTW?
In terms of a "better game" I'd have to go with SIU/UNI or GSU/Wofford

Wofford vs. Ga. So. is my pick. WoCo with a convincing win vs. Furman Saturday going to Statesboro to the hostile confines of Paulson Stadium with GSU coming off a bye week. It will be the battle of the triple option.
NAU vs. EWU could be a good one too.

Well, you would, since it's your conference.
Me? I have to see what's on the plate for the week first

Gotta actually agree with Wofford/GA Southern. That does sound like a good one.

My God man! Don't you know the rules!?! When using East and West in a sentence, ALWAYS use East first! And preferrabley use different font sizes.

Actually, knowing what the SIU/UNI rivalry is all about and how heated it is always makes it a GOTW candidate. However, add to the fact what is on the line for both teams right now: SIU being eliminated from playoff contention after being predicited to finish first in the preseason poll, UNI trying to prove that they deserve the top 15 ranking they have had so far this year and trying to grab a hold of MVFC control, SIU winning throws a HUGE wrench into the entire conference race, etc...
This game means "more" than probably any other game this week.

Those "divas" have won 19 of the 25 conference titles.

Wofford/GSU will be a good game.
I can't give a game GOTW only because of the distance of travel. CP should win that one by 12 or more.

Sigh.
Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen.
Oh, and you too Catmom! And SH!
Stop fighting it - the University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens are the 2010 (or should I say 2010/2011) FCS Team of Destiny. What do you think the real reason is for all the posers (cough, cough, Montana, cough, cough) wanting to go FBS?
And whenever the Team of Destiny plays, well, that right there is your GOTW.
This week's GOTW is Maine vs. Delaware.

This East Coast Bias is shameful. There are very nice people on the west coast. Just because many of them wear purple and like rainbows doesn't mean we should have hatred. No wait. Doesn't UNI wear purple? And JMU? OK, forget what I said. Stay away from people wearing purple and flying rainbow flags, especially if they are nice and have this facial expression

. East Coast Rules.

UNI is
west of the Mississippi, not under east coast rules.

Well, if your are going by the Mississippi then yes.
If going based on the geographical center of the contiguous United States, UNI is subject to ECB

That's only the geographic center of CONUS, clenz. The ACTUAL geographic center is probably somewhere out in the Pacific.

Oh and FYIY
The Geographical Center of North America is located in Rugby, North Dakota
AND
The geographical center of all 50 states is located 17 miles west of Castle Rock, South Dakota.
Those two locations are about 400 miles apart.

Been to all 3, all by accident during my travels.
Gotta watch out for the rattlesnakes at the South Dakota location.

Most of these games have playoff implications for both teams. Being a SoCon guy I would go with the Wofford vs GaSo match-up but being a Mountaineer the Elon vs App is of the most importance. On a national scale I like the Northern Iowa vs Southern Ill. Lots of good games this week!!!!!!

Big Sky Conference "Game of the Week" (with national ranking implications)
Northern Arizona at Eastern Washington
Walter Payton Award Watch List Battle: NAU QB Michael Herrick vs EWU RB Tawain Jones
Herrick threw for over 400 yards against the Eagles last year, but his receivers aren't as gifted this time around
If Jones is healthy, the Eagle RB could do damage to the much-improved Lumberjack defense
Game has BSC title implications
