SoCon Week 5 Pick Em

3 of the 4 SoCon teams with a win in conference have open dates this weekend, so not the greatest weekend in SoCon football, but the games seem to be fairly evenly matched.
Western Carolina @ Citadel WCU seems to have woken up a little over the past few weeks
Furman @ Wofford Furman has looked strong this year
Samford @ Elon Don't let me down again. This one will probably be close.

Furman over Wofford by 7-10 pts Furman has looked strong, probably a shootout
Citadel beats WCU by 7-10 pts Probably Western's last hope to win another game this year

Western Carolina @ Citadel -Citdogs played much better than the result would indicate against Furman and the Whee also played UTC pretty well. I give the Citdogs the 3 points for home field advantage and the win.
Furman @ Wofford- Furman has played well this year and Wofford is still a question mark. On paper Purple wins this game but it's being played at Wofford so I will pick the Ankle-biters in a close one.
Samford @ Elon- Neither of these teams has played to expectations but Elon's passing attack should be able to score at will against Sammy. It's a must win for either to have a prayer at the playoffs so once again I go with the home team in the Fenix as their backs are truly against the wall.
