CAA TODAY: UNTESTED

In the post-game news conference following the Villanova-Towson game, Delaware County Times sportswriter Terry Toohey asked Villanova coach Andy Talley whether this year’s Wildcat defense is as good as the 2009 version.
Talley replied by saying that the 2010 defense has yet to be tested.
After three games, Villanova is first in the CAA in rushing defense allowing only 56 yards per game, and second in the CAA in total defense yielding 239 yards per game.

Untested? They failed. They let Temple waltz down the field to win the game...just as Talley knew they would!
