Delaware has 4 road games in the next 9 weeks:

@ #5 Richmond
@ #3 James Madison
@ #8 William & Mary
@ #11 UMass

Then close the season with an easy game vs the #1 Villanova...geez. We Hen fans will learn a lot about our boys really quickly.

Montana with a record of 0-2 (only including games that count toward playoff qualification) receiving votes? :tothehand:

The CS Poll has its issues, but it's by far the best of the three I've seen today.

Others receiving votes: Texas State 328, Illinois State 275, Wofford 260, South Dakota State 258, Weber State 193, Northern Arizona 180, Southeast Missouri State 172, Harvard 169, Chattanooga 148, Alabama State 106, Florida A&M 93, Western Illinois 83, Sacramento State 77, Georgia Southern 74, Rhode Island 67, Youngstown State 52, Robert Morris 51, Prairie View A&M 42, Norfolk State 30, Gardner-Webb 29, North Dakota 23, Grambling State 22, Brown 21, Jacksonville 20, Southern Utah 19, Alcorn State 18, Missouri State 18, Hampton 17, Colgate 13, Valparaiso 12, UT Martin 12, Bethune-Cookman 11, Howard 9, Samford 9, Old Dominion 9, Western Carolina 7, Northern Colorado 7, Yale 6, Jackson State 4, The Citadel 4, Holy Cross 3, Georgetown 3, Austin Peay 3, Eastern Illinois 3, Lehigh 2, Lamar 2, Bryant 1, Dayton 1, Georgia State 1.

Weber shouldn't be ahead of Sac in the votes. Weber hasn't proved they should have any votes other than preseason expectations from the pollsters. Beating UNC in 4OT is all we have done so far. A respectable showing against a supposed very good FBS team isn't convincing for me.

Sac was unknown to me til they beat my team. They go to missoula this week. so if they want to be ranked that game will do it for them like the way the griz did for Weber in 2008. We had decent FBS games vs hawaii and utah and beat 2 non-DI's. Then we beat #3 ranked FCS team and were ranked every week from Oct 6, 2008 til last week. lol

I'm ok with WSU ahead of NAU since the 'jacks are still unknown, beating a non-DI and playing an FBS will keep us wondering. They have ISU this week but at least it is a conf game.

SUU? 2 FBS games which were both close and winnable. Then they blow out San Diego. I think they are close to being ranked. They go to Texas St this week. They win that one and they'll be very close if not ranked.

WHY THE HELL?????

i voted for UM to be ranked but I have wondered what if this was FBS how would it play out?

What if BAMA lost a close one to a non ranked team, then lose to #18, both good games, both very close. Would Bama be 0-2 and ranked?

UM beating Sac will end speculation for me.

I voted Montana down pretty low, but its really hard to put too many schools ahead of them considering how close the games really were...a loss by a two-point conversion and what was effectively a field goal against #18, both on the road.

As weberwildcat said, if Alabama does that do they get dropped out of the polls? Probably not.

This week is a big one for the Griz...first home conference game, homecoming weekend, and Sacramento State flying high after upsetting Weber State coming to town...if they lose this one then we don't deserve votes.
