History is replete with tales of rampaging "cupcakes".

November 17, 1928: "I'm staying home to watch the Army - Navy game. Carnegie Tech is just a bunch of cupcakes." - Notre Dame Head Coach Knute Rockne before Notre Dame's 19-0 loss to Carnegie Tech.

September 1, 2007: "We're going to eat us some hillbilly cupcakes." - Michigan fan prior to kickoff.

September 4, 2010: "Whatever-Dakota State? Why are we playing some AA cupcake?" - Kansas fan in Lawrence bar

September 11, 2010: "Who we playing? Dolly Madison? Aren't they known for their cupcakes?" - Virginia Tech fan

September 11, 2010: "Georgetown doesn't play football. They're just a bunch of cupcakes." - Lafayette fan
