Considering their season is effectively over, VaTech must be looking forward to next year....but they open up with App State on September 3rd, which they got to be scared to death of right now.
So do they, or do they make it their mission to wipe App off the face of he earth en route to the 2011/12 National Title?

Dropping Appy might adversely effect their strength of schedule, being that they play in the A-She-She.

I'd love to see Appy beat VT next year. I hate VT, I take that back, I hate VT fans.
GO DUKES!

Nice win for JMU.
Va Tech's season isn't over. They still have a shot as a BCS bowl, just not as an at large.

There was a ton of speculation a few years back after Appy went into the Big House and beat Michigan...that Michigan and other top FBS steams would stop scheduling the upper half of FCS...
Never happened...
I doubt VT will buy out ASU...instead, they'll use this years loss to JMU next spring and fall to motivate that teams...
Just like Michigan is still using the ASU defeat...
Which is why UMass will have no chance to sneak up on Michigan next Saturday...

As long as Denard's in the game you have NO SHOT. 502 total yards of offense for him yesterday, 258 rushing and 244 passing. That just a week after he went for 186 passing and 197 rushing.
