Watch this video. This is pathetic, if they do this in the dome this year when they play UNI I hope Farley gives the team the "go a head" to give these bitches a reason to fall over in "pain"

love how the dude on the left sees the other dude fall at the same time, and just sits there, not sure if he should continue faking an injury or let the other guy go for it....sees said other dude fall down to continue the fake, so he just gets a lil help off his fat a$$ and runs off the field.

Of course your team will be fine, your not actually hurt you just can't keep up with the pace of the game (something i think UNI is doing this year).

I saw this last night and wanted to get on here and post this so bad. This was so coached. You can see the first guy on the left (23?), look to the sidelines before he "goes down" "Oh, right, I'm supposed to be injured."
Real classy there SFA.
We had 2 guys get hurt against UH. One receiver was sandwiched but returned (had to be helped off the field) and our CB/KOR injured his leg (also helped off the field ) but did not return.
SFAFan - you think there's nothing wrong with this? Get a grip. This is a COACHED action to avoid the no huddle offense...It's lame, at best. If a DII or NAIA did this at a game against your team there'd be hell raised. It's ignoble and you can not quantify it in any way.

That is about as a pussy a move as I've seen in football. I always had a fair amount of respect for them but that is fucking ridiculous.
Man, that is a whole nother level of pussy right there.

Well, I don't really know what there is to say about this. If it is true, I am a little dissapointed. I hope it wasn't a coached decision, we all know cramps can hit any time...this does look a little suspect. Aside from not being well thought out, I don't know that its THAT bad...I mean really, what did the players get for this??? an unofficial 5 min. timeout?
Not trying to defend this if its true...but beyond being a little cowardly, I don't know that this is a big a deal as being made to be.
And I don't know that SFA got rolled. Take away a pick six in the first half and the score was 13-7 going into half. Also, the Aggies left most of their starters in for the entire game.

They played 2 halves right? Did you guys pull your starters at half? That pick six is counted as a football play correct?
If the answers to these question are:
Yes
No
Yes
Then I don't get WTF you are talking about.
It is cowardly and you don't like to see that out on the field so it is a big deal in that respect. It was very likely perpetrated by the coaches but at the very least was an act that was premeditated. Kind of a big deal, not the end of the world, but a real cowardly act as you pointed out.

This is an embarassment to the FCS. There is nothing more pathetic and small time than this.
I would be ashamed if it were my school.
What a bitch move.

Wow Ursus!?! I didn't think it was that difficult to tell what I was talking about. Simply put, I don't feel SFA got "rolled" as the OP stated in the thread title. Just an observation that SFA played a very talented Aggie team very tough for a half.
Yes, they played two halves. Everyone talks about how FCS teams can't keep up over four qtr's with FBS teams due to depth. Just making a point that while our starters were fresh vs. their starters we faired well.
No, we didn't pull our starters at half. But again the depth issue comes to play as reserves rotate in during the second half.
Yes, a pick six counts as a football play. But when evaluating a defense, you don't grade them on points they didn't give up.

While huge underdogs...I would love nothing more than to have Albany physically knock the snot out of these pussies.
Honestly...wtf; when did SFA become a part of Brazilian soccer?!

I wasn't evaluting the defense on the matter until I saw that play. That told me all I need to know right there in that clip about what your coach is teaching that defense about heart.
I don't think you agree with that move. I doubt you would have coached anybody that this was the way to stand your ground. If that is the case, do not, in any way, defend it. It makes you look bad.
That brought shame to the school you support. Do not defend it.

Albany plays physical and that has been a key to beating SLC teams for as long as I can remember. Not the only key but a pretty big key nonetheless.

If true? It's right there in front of you. The two players start running back to the line, look to the sideline and fall down at the same time in "pain". The one further to the left sees the other guy, goes "OH SHIT, WE BOTH DID IT." He then just sits there for a moment then RUNS off of the field.
You're going to tell me that BOTH players went down with seemingly SEVERE injuries at the same time, well after the play was over (which was on the other side of the field, only to have one get up and sprint off of the field....and it wasn't staged, they were legit injuries?
That's homerism if I've ever saw it.
What did the players get for this? Uh, they clearly (at the time) couldn't keep up with the pace of the game, were gassed, and needed a break. So they fake injuries to stop the clock and get the defense a rest. Should have been called unsportsmanlike conduct delay of game if it wasn't. They fell over as if they were shot, not like they had a cramp or injury.
Seriously, Romeo looks AT THE SIDELINE at the 8 second mark then both he and the other guy go down at the same point, like a magic bullet....THE MAGIC INJURY BULLET!

Agreed Ursus! Pretty sure I said I was not trying to defend if it were truley a planned event. I am probably wearing a shade too dark of the purple colored glasses. But you don't want to believe the worst when its your team...ya know?

I do understand it. It sucks a big dick when you have to come to grips with something like that.
Whether you know it or not you were difending it by softening the language and I honestly didn't get the feeling that you believed in what you were saying. That's a dick move to pull on your fan base right there and I hope they feel the full brunt of the shame they ought to cuz it will keep them from trying to cheat like that again...at least it should.
If you would not have done that in the same situation then you need not share in the shame of it. That's on the coaches.

What is a bigger bitch move: Faking an injury like this to avoid facing a no huddle offense, or taking the pass interference 15 yards when you are about to get burned for a TD on a long pass?
IMO it's pretty close. I don't know how many times SFA did this, but Duke took the 15 yards twice against Elon on Saturday night.

tough call, but probably the faking an injury. With the current NCAA rules, the PI is just playing the system...however, it is still a bitch move.
Granted, if I were a coach and my players were getting burned I would tell them to do it, and probably coach them to make it look accidental as well. I know it is a bitch move, but at least that isn't screwing with the flow of the game

It isn't even close. Duke took a penalty for the play and I guaranfuckingtee you that Elon has taken that same penalty for doing to someone else. You only care about it right now cuz it just happened to you. I will bet you that Elon will even get one of those themselves this year.
