I have an Ole Miss guy here at work - on Friday he said "Who the hell is Jacksonville State?" and I told him. He said "I lived in Alabama and never heard of them." I went by this morning and said "Have you heard of them now?" He gave me the one finger salute - he's always been so dismissive of FCS in spite of NAU giving them a good game at home last year. Good luck in the rest of the season.

one of the broker's that covers us from BofA is a huge Ole Miss guy. I did my grad work at South Carolina so we talk SEC football nearly every day. Thursday when we were talking - he mentioned we were lucky cause we got to play our warm-up game two days early (USC played Southern Miss Thursday).

This morning - he didn't even call me...just sent me an IM over Bloomberg to confirm rates.

Absolutely fantastic victory. Beating an SEC team, and I mean any SEC team, is GINORMOUS!!!

Now that's funny. I'm an LU fan from MS so I know how big this win is in SEC country. Congrats JSU!

this is a bit old but they had talked about making Admiral Ackbar from Star Wars the new mascot, over the (pretty racist) Rebel. Rebel Alliance vs. the Emipre being more progressive. Anyway, Admiral Ackbar's famous for saying:

I have a funny idea for a high light video i wanted to make, but i have zero video editing skills. It would be admiral ackbar doing commentary on the highlight clip, and right before each big play we made it would cut to him and he would say "ITS A TRAP!"
