Don't get your hopes up here, 'lil caterpillar. Your mascot can win every single week, and your football team can win the national championship, yet your mascot could still not win the overall challenge, and in fact could lose to the mascot that represents the football team that lost to your football team in the NC game! (Don't you love run-on sentences?) It's happened.

FWIW, Duke Dog can be nominated to be on next year's ballot. Currently HokieBird is winning the VA nomination...Liberty and Richmond's mascots can also be nominated. So vote for us and then nominate Duke Dog. Tell your buddies on JMU's CAAzone board.

Meh, I'm not worried about it too much. In fact, I'll probably vote for your caterpillar every week if'n you remind us every week.
I can't tell you the last time I visited the CAAzone. 99% of the JMU people on that board are 100% assholes. It's a fuckfest of assholery.

Sorry, they only give away gay mascot awards. You have to earn a NC trophy. Too bad there always seems to be a CAA team in the way of your gift.

Want to bring up that in a helluva epic battle, Big Blue (ODU) beat Monte (Montana) 234,715 votes to 205,622.

To put that in perspective, the other 14 teams, all which are FBS schools, had 273,585 votes COMBINED this week.

FCS Fans > FBS Fans.

I fully expect Big Blue and Monte to meet in the final match-up...
