It's a good venue Catamount but why there instead of the greatness of Missoula and the chance to party with Grizo & Ursus and the others again?

Sorry Cman, I don't go to Bozeman for the game any longer. I haven't been there for a while now. There are a lot of great Bobcat fans and you would have a fucking great time there but none of the group I was with will probably be there.

Because on the other side of the coin there are a good number of very bitter Bobcat fans that can dish out the shit but can not take it. Once they take a verbal ass kicking they want it to go physical so they might regain some of their dignity. That always works out badly for both parties but I willingly go ahead and partake in the festivities anyway.

3 or the 4 times I went ended either with handcuffs or the emergency room. One of the times (E room) there was also the matter of the Bobcat fans pushing my friends sister around out front of the Rocking R bar cuz she was willing to shit talk back with a group of lads that did not like her choice of apparel. The front window of the Rocking R got broke out and a a lot of us went to the ER from the glass and the melee in general. The friends sister got her leg broken once it all started to go south. Another friend had a cast on his paw from the ordeal.

I went twice more after that and those are the handcuff episodes. On the way home I vowed that I wouldn't spend a nickel there again on a Cat/Griz weekend and I have held true to that commitment.

As I said, if you go you will have a good time and it's a beautiful place. You just will not see me or any of the group you met there as they were some of the same principles involved back when.

Now if you want to come and have a fantastic time in one of the best places in the FCS then I would start thinking about 2012. BTW, we have a very cool stadium here that is one of the best kept secrets in FCS!

All of us outside the great state of Montana have to order our tickets at least two years in advance. :)

I know, I know. "Whatever". :D

Catamount we will have a cold beer, bottle of whiskey, and lots of food for you when you get here. And don't listen to griz fans about OUR fans. Sure there are bad ones, but they are on both sides. I have a bunch of stories about griz fans I could tell as well. Make sure you E-mail us in 2 years and we will make sure you have a GREAT time.

While the "Brawl for the Wild" should be a national holiday, or at least, a state one, the October 23rd visit from NAU could be a game not to be overlooked. Jacks QB Michael Herrick (remember last year's OT game in Flagstaff?) could give the UM defense fits. Whatever, the game should be exciting and I'm looking forward to it.

I truly have a hard time picturing someone as mild mannered, laid back and smooth talking such as yourself EVER having an altercation end up in fisticuffs or handcuffs. You just don't seem the type, Ursus. I always looked at you as a big ol' teddy bear. :ohno: :ohno:

Dude, I'm just telling Catamount why I won't be there. Every bit of it is true and if it's true then I ain't trying to smack you guys. I prefaced it all with "Beautiful location, Nice stadium, & some great fans". Which is also true.

I am also not saying that you don't have stories of some pin dick Griz fans that act like assholes and try to instigate when you're in our town. I'm sure it has happened to those that have come here from Bozeman.

I'm just saying that if he is planning on meeting up with the group he partied with in Chattanooga when we told him he needs to get out and see a Griz/Cat game then that ain't gonna be the place to do it. :thumb:

I know.

There are a lot of dudes that take it very personally though when they choose to stir up some conversation and then once they start seeing the verbal battle not going their way want to puff out there chests and test there physicality on the matter and I hate to disappoint people, so I indulge them. I'm a pacifist in that regard. :thumb:

My time in college it was basically a draw. 2 emergency room visits ( 1 in Bozeman and 1 in Missoula) and a total of 18 stitches. Nobody to blame but myself. Good times

NO....I took it after an afternoon at a few breweries.... I think he was busy blowing a few Bobcats.
