So many different ways the baby reference can be taken. Never thought I'd say this...nice work, ESPN! That's damn near as funny as their fight song!

While I abhor the BCS bias of ESPN, et al,,,, this cover and coverage is terrific.

Congrats to GSU for getting noticed by a national publication - good for everybody.

Looking forward to our game in October!

Just a question - does anyone read ESPN the Magazine? I swear, I don't think I've ever even touched a single copy of this magazine, ever. I'm sure someone's reading it but I'm not.

I've tried to, but it is so random and just doesn't flow well at all. It's really difficult to follow.

I got a subscription once for my birthday or Christmas. The only redeeming factor is the randomness is great for a bathroom read.

Drop and go? - Read the snippet and pictures on a Tebow family third world visit

Lotts meat that day? - Go ahead and settle in for our expose on some bullshit stuff that's happening in some bullshit place

I felt like ESPN the Mag was trying to be like Maxim with all it's randomness...but it lacked the chicks and the random facts about everything, not just sports, of Maxim. I haven't read a Maxim in ten years, but it sure was the thing to read back in college.

I subscribe to Insider on espn.com, and i got a free ESPN the magazine subscription with that. I did it one summer while I was living with my Dad, and so they were sent there originally. When I went back to JMU, I changed my address online, called up and spoke to someone, filled out the card and mailed it in; it still comes to my Dad's house to this day. When I go to visit there are huge piles of the magazine in the bathroom for toilet reading. It's alright, but nothing I would pay for on a standalone basis.

I've never thought of it that way, but you're exactly right. There's just not enough sports randomness to fill a whole year of monthly publications.

ESPN The Magazine is being redone starting with TODAY's issue...

By the way, I might be way off here, but nothing screams "We're going FBS" like angling for an ESPN the Mag cover. I know they've got Chuck Norr..er..I mean Bill Curry and they're in Atlanta, but it still takes a good push by the PR folks to pull this off. Congrats to them for getting it, but I think it just further shows the ultimate aspirations of the program. Not that there's anything wrong with that....

53.7% of players say Oregon has the best uniforms?

What the hell is wrong with their eyesight?

At the bottom of the list, with the worst colors, was Montana. :dunce:

Have you ever tried using punctuation marks? My 4 year old neighbor has better typing/texting skills than you.

I actually bought a copy of ESPN the Magazine this past sunday as I flew back to ODU from Tampa...but thats only because the magazine stand in the airport was out of sports illustrated. :ohno:
