Former WCU DL Nick McNeil (2000-2003) has traded in his pro football cleats for a job in the WWE as "Percy Watson". KUDOS NICK!!!

I believe several former NFL Catamounts can lay claim to that fame, not to mention Kenneth Hughes, co-CEO of Dixon Hughes CPA in Asheville, NC, James Lanning, President/CEO of Ingles, Inc., and especially Wallace N. Hyde, Democratic delegate in North Carolina for many years.

If you look at the background of many pro wrestlers you'll find that quite a few of them played some college football.
