BYU's the Mountain West favorite & ranked #16 in the AP poll. I don't think it's going to be terribly close.

So how did the game come out. I haven't seen it on the ticker.

I started the thread a little early. Game is on Sat at 6pm EST.

I don't think preseason ranking plays into this at all. It's all about matchups.

Oohhhhh. I thought it was tonight, I have been looking on the net and watching sportscenter's ticker and it never was on. I thought I was going insane.

sorry, i was bored and wanted to get some convo going.

Obviously I want a win but I'd be happy if we keep it respectable.

I'm rooting for you UNI boys but I saw BYU a couple of times last year and they were real solid and are supposed to be better this year. To me if you were to beat BYU like you did Iowa St. last year then I would like your chances to make it to the chipper and win that NC Title. YOu will have to have some real athletes in this game to stay with them. All that being said it will be a game that I definitely tune into if I can get it on the dish and will be pulling for you.

Eastern Washington played them last year and was pretty respectable, however, they lost by about 20. UNI will probable have a better defense that EWU did last year but will need to put the ball in the endzone a few times to have a chance.

I think the difference in offensive plans alone makes the EWU and UNI comparison invalid.

Well, I'm going to be on the Man's couch, on my laptop in the chat at Panther Nation. Doesn't get much better than that! He's even going to be gone, so I can yell and scream as much as I want. About football, that is.

UNI down 14-3 with about 5 minutes left in the first half.

BYU has been passing all over UNI. Panther QB Pat Grace had to leave the game for a bit after a helmet to helmet hit.
