Anyone getting new unis or helmets for 2010?

Catmom found picture of Texas States new road uniform. Its assumed the home will be a maroon version of this.

Update includes the "wacker" font used by Texas St and the addition of the words "Texas State" across the chest.

You probably already know the new logo but at the SLC conference Conque revealed this:



Don't know about the uniforms yet and I think the Bear by itself would have been fine without the "UCA" logo but whatever..

I like it! Its a nice update from what you had. Does the timing of the new logo and uniform have anything to do with UCAs first full D! member year?

Youngstown State signed a deal with Under Armour for new uniforms since our new head coach is friends with a higher up at UA.

New Helmets for MO State will be unveiled on Tuesday at the first practice, but was rumored to be a slate gray with maroon facemask:

The question is no longer...are these real...because I know they are. I have friends on the team that confirmed it. Only thing they couldn't say is WHEN they will wear them. I'm betting Cat/Griz and that's it.

McNeese now has a contract with UA so there will be new uniforms this year but they will not vary much from the traditional look he team has worn in the past. (I have not seen them yet so no pics, sorry)

I really do wish we'd just stick with a design for more than 3 years at a time. I love the current jerseys, they're the best we've had since the 'copper' and gold days (they've also spanned my time at the school, so I'm not really wanting a change for that reason as well...).

I personally like the new look, but then again I have liked any/all GRIZ uniforms.

A former GRIZ, I believe it is Scott Zanon is pretty influential and high up within Nike. At least as of a dawning the old throwback GRIZ Uni's, he was.

The uniforms should look better with the paints. I really hope.
