Mickey Matthews, Jerry Moore, etc.............they'll all go if the price is right.......to FBS or the NFL.

No kidding they all go if the price is right but theres much more to it than that. Yes Jerry Moore is older and been there and done it....Mickey is a legit possiblity, don't know how old he is? I was looking for the legitmate candidates.....last year it was London and Hauck. Both made sense based on age, region and the FBS schools they went to. Rocco has done amazing things for sure.

Moore isn't going anywhere - If the 2005-2009 stretch of wins had happened for him 15 yrs earlier he might have gone FBS. I expect he'll be retiring in the next couple of years.

...or if they make a playoff run.
I keep thinking Keeler or Talley would be getting looks too...
... I also think the next guy who could be on the rise in the SoCon is Heusman if UTC continues their improvement under him.

Agreed on Huesman, although they'll have to get UTC back on the athletic/academic track.

Andy Talley is 67 years old - he's not going anywhere other than retirement. Heck, the 4-5 nova football fans out there were calling for him to do just that 2 or 3 seasons ago. He's in his last job right now.
As for Keeler, his is more of a hot seat - he has to make the playoffs this year or he could be looking for a job next year. Too good of a team with too soft of a schedule not to make the playoffs, and he's only been to the playoffs once in the last 5 years. He's young enough and brash enough that he could get some attention if UD starts winning games again.

I don't think any of the head coaches are hot...maybe Travis or Jon would be better judges...but in Travis' case, I don't think there are many young asian head coaches to choose from.
On the other hand, I do know that Mickey Mathews is a hot head...and a coach. That hat toss at UD earns him my vote for best hot head coach.

Did you see the assistant women's lax coach that UD just hired? They had a pic of her on bluehens.com a couple of weeks ago. It's not a head coaching spot, but that was the closest to hot I've seen in the coaching ranks lately.
OK, so you made me look and that is definitley a HOT coach!! As for keeler he needs to win, no doubt about it. To much to live up to at UD not to be winning more. Talley is going no where, same as Jerry Moore. Don't know if Lembo has the "it" factor to move up and excite and FBS fan base IMHO.

Bobby Lamb can be pretty hot-headed sometimes...
Seriously, though, I've always thought it was just a matter of time before Sean McDonnell gets a job somewhere else. UNH seldom made the playoffs before he took over and now they've made the playoffs every year since 2004

Keeler is a hot-head, given some of the temper tantrums he has thrown.

The longer Mickey stays, the more I think he's gonna be here for a while. I don't think he's on anybody's radar, for better or for worse. Just my two cents.
