Awesome - just made my first post there in what seems like forever. Now of course, the question is how long can people behave themselves and keep the place open. Sadly, I'm no optimistic, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Maybe we can persuade the Liberty fans to post there too...

Good. Football season is back, and I was getting tired of reading how Richmond, Liberty and Gardner Webb cleared the lint from their belly-buttons.

Hey I will take a coach for two years if he goes 24-5 and wins us a national title. Clawson stayed for 4 seasons, not really too much of a footbridge there. I am just sorry that Keeler has been so mediocre a coach as of late that no one wants to hire him

We prefer to consider ourselves more of a destination than rest-stop along the I-95 football coaching corridor.

No - I think they changed the address of the boards. If you go to CAAzone.com, you'll see a link for the boards and they've been up and running all along.

Never fear, that all comes to an end on September 25th this year, in what will be just one in a long line of L's for the Spiders this year. It was a good run for you guys, no doubt (and I certainly rooted for you once UD was out of things - always liked Richmond and it's fans) but it's going to be a real long year for Spiders fans.

It could well be, we will see. I have a fair amount of faith in the talent stockpiled at UR. There are only 7 (i think) returning starters, but all 7 are preseason All-CAA (1st, 2nd or 3rd team). Mix that with creditible back ups, and a stout defense and I think the Spiders will be ok. In my mind it will all come down to UR's new offensive line, as only the center returns from last season. If the line jells and gives Carp the time, I think he will be able to find our fleet of speedy receivers. If it does not, then I agree it could be a long long season in the new Stadium.
