FCS Sightings Observation

So, we're hanging out at Silverwood Amusement Park, located about halfway between Couer 'd Alene and Sandpoint Idaho. Right smack in the middle of Washington State (90 miles), Gonzaga (45 miles), Idaho (90 miles), and Eastern Washington (50 miles) country, no?

As I always do, I read people's shirts/sweatshirts as they go by and here's what I found:

# of EWU sightings: 0
# of Idaho sightings: 0
# of U W sightings: 0
# of WSU sightings: 1
# of Gonzaga sightings: 1
# of UMass sightings: 1
# of Cal Poly sightings: 1
# of Montana sightings: 21

From over 200 miles away, the Montana Grizzlies own the entire Pacific Northwest. :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Actually, just the opposite. The EWU, WSU and Idaho grads aren't allowed to wear their school gear while working at the park.

While standing in line for a concert at The Gorge on Saturday, and sporting a maroon Griz shirt, I heard someone behind me say "Hey, Montana Grizzlies guy!". Said he had a buddy that was "obsessed" with the Griz, and would get a kick out of seeing my shirt. And, being the minor celebrity that I am, he proceeded to take my picture with his cell phone camera. :coffee:

I've only seen one Montana shirt in person, and it was on Appaholic.

How many sweatshirts had "Old Fart" and "Old Fart's Wife" on them?

Doesn't really show that the Griz "own" the NW. Maybe shows which ones have jobs and working on a Tuesday to take the kids to Disneyland later instead of not working and having to settle for Silverwood.

Here's a post on MonarchNation from an ODU fan who attended last nights White Sox-Mariners game in Seattle...
Went to the game last night with another ODU alum, what a nice stadium. Dan pitch a good game, like the numbers showed. The first inning he gave up a run and was looking a little shaky, but settled down into a nice flow. His fast balls were clocking around the mid 90s and the off speed stuff was nasty. I think he's got the stuff to stick in the majors. Went to a beer garden before the game and ran into a couple of ODU alums that were getting ready for the game, it pays to wear your ODU gear. Just outside the Brimington Shipyard, I'm certain I saw an Adopt a Hyw sign that said Old Dominion U.
:thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

FWIW, Dan as in Dan Hudson who is now a starter for the White Sox who is a former ODU Baseball star. :thumb:

That's pretty sad AZ. I mean, you wouldn't think the state of Idaho would be a step up for Griz fans. :coffee: Silverwood? Whatever floats your boat. I suppose that's nice of you guys to give the sheep a break. Good for you! :thumb:

Weak smack, even by pathetic EWU standards. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:
