For some of us, summer and a good portion of football season coincide.89Hen wrote:You guys must not enjoy the summer. As much as I love football season, I love the summer more.
Fag. Since when do you care where other guys stay.bandl wrote:Are you paying more than $39 to stay at the Marriott?mcveyrl wrote:We booked our hotels last night and confirmed where our season tickets are.

There's nothing quite like waking up early on gameday in late September or early October, the chill of fall in the air and leaves changing color... the marching bands and parking lot festivities, the echoes of the play by play caller reverberating out of the stadium and off buildings, the thunderous boom of the ROTC howitzer after a score, and of course FOOTBALL!!!!!!mcveyrl wrote:89Hen wrote:You guys must not enjoy the summer. Don't get me wrong, I love summer. I've still got a vacation in August to go on and plenty of days of golf. But I think that part of my impatience is that we've had a couple of days that are cooler than normal and it reminds me of the early football games (which might as well be summer). I'm ready to tailgate!
So driving wasted is ok as long as you only drive a little ways? Gotcha.mcveyrl wrote:Fag. Since when do you care where other guys stay.bandl wrote: Are you paying more than $39 to stay at the Marriott?
Annnndd...I can't make it to the Marriott after a game without risking my law license, so we book the Days Inn. Much less risky drive from Convo to there.

Woah, woah, woah. Never said any of it was "okay" I was just talking about risk. And I also never said "wasted." By the time the game is over, I haven't had a drink for about 3 hours and generally like to enjoy the game so it's not like I'm blacked out drunk. Having said all that, I feel a lot safer about driving if I've only got to go a quarter mile on a back road as opposed to drive through the city.
And I think we can agree that bandl's a fag.
Bigots cannot afford those type of prices....apparently they need that 8 bucks for another few Steel Reserve tall boys.bandl wrote:You ever heard of a taxi, you queer?? Last time I was there it cost 4 of us $8 total to go from the stadium to Calhoun's downtown, and then another $8 from there to the Marriott Courtyard. You can afford that, can't you?!?!

You rarely get to see a train "bunny hop" like this.bobbythekidd wrote:This train jumped the tracks sitting at the station.

But think of the children playing around/in that back road.....Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:Dead on brother. All of it.mcveyrl wrote:
