It's a little early, but the schedules aren't changing between now and September 2nd. This will be a weekly poll for the FCS Game of the Week. Only FCS vs FCS games will be included each week. What say ye?

Several interesting games:

Albany - Maine
UTC - App State

Voted for W&M - UMass

Voted WM-Mass, only other game I'd consider was Appy & Chatty

W&M vs UMass. Only other one that even comes close in my mind would be Lamar vs McNeese.

My opinion as well.

I think App-UTC will be an interesting game that could set the tone for the season for both. But William & Mary/UMass is going to be a good one. Big game for UMass, who really hasn't been a factor nationally since losing to App in the NC 2006.

Same here. Will be interesting to see how App does with the new QB and I want to see if the W&M D will be as good as last year.

I voted for UMass/W&M...first time in a while we've had a conference opener as the season opener...really will set the tone for our season IMHO...

I agree with those who mentioned the ASU/Chattanooga game, since its the first game outside the AE era...

Others I'll watch closely include Albany at Maine, and CCSU at UNH...both visiting squads have been showing improvement...

NDSU BISON @ KU wasnt even mentioned. Obviously for one of the largest fan bases in the FCS the NDSU BISON @ KU game is going to be a huge consideration for game of the week. With the NDSU draw every one of their games should always be considered for FCS game of the week.

But hey, what do I know. The threads about FCS vs. FCS.

So because the fan base is large it should always be considered for a game of the week?

Holy fuck, there are a lot of bad FBS schools that should be up for the FBS game of the week too then....

Oh and I voted for UMASS vs. W&M but consider Albany vs Maine a close second because I am interested to see how the top of the playoff newcomers stacks up against a top conference solid team.

There were 8 teams in front of you, so if it were based on attendance, you wouldn't stand a chance.
