Ohio State RB to Transfer?

The Buckeye Nation is talking about the potential exit of RB Jermil Martin, a junior from Cleveland Glenville High School. Read the following link:
http://www.elevenwarriors.com/2010/05/s ... lting.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Reading some of his tweet's on twitter, it certainly sounds like he is leaving:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
No mention yet if he plans to transfer, but for a kid with as much talent as him, I definitely expect him to end up somewhere, most likely in the FCS ranks.
And no, I do not expect Youngstown State to be in the running for this kid.

I am a member of buckeyeplanet.com and scarletbuckeye.com and I can't find a thing on this. Not saying it's not true but I figured they would have mentioned it there with 20,000+ members.

Is he by any chance related to Rob Schoenhoft?

Are you sure YSU won't get him? Hell, you are getting kids from Florida these days. Best coaching staff in the nation, and the only FCS staff with FBS ties. No way in hell he ends up anywhere but YSU if he does leave.

You got everything right, but I just do not see us trying to pick up a 6th running back when we already have 5 that can make an immediate impact.
Anyways I provided links, even to his Twitter, that shows he is gone. I am not saying it is a given he goes FCS, but it seems more likely than not.

No way he goes anywhere put YSU. YSU is on the fast track to the BCS title in a couple years with this current set up they have going. They will make the Florida and Alabama teams of the past few years look like pee-wee teams

I didn't say it was. I was just saying that someone who does the exact same thing shouldn't bitch about it happening.. Kind of a pot meet kettle situation.
I wasn't starting a pissing match, I was just giving quinezone some shit over the greatness that is YSU this coming year. I don't know if he is 40, but I'm assuming he is a man that can handle it.

Your attempt at humor in this thread was pretty bad. Will YSU be improved vastly in the coming years under Wolford, absolutely, but I never talked them up as much as you are claiming. Heacock was what, 0-9 against UNI, but as of now Wolford is 0-0. Can't wait for Homecoming!

Time will tell if YSU will be back on the fast track for a FCS title but with recruiting being Wolford's strong suit I won't be surprised if it happens.It's been 13 long years since we've been to the top of the mountain and those of us that can remember that far back are not content with winning any "almost made it" banners.One thing is for certain--the automatic W on UNI's schedule will be in serious jeopardy in the next few years.

Sounds like he
may be coming to YSU after all. Little did I know that he was recruited as a FB, a position we could use some more depth at.

Obviously those forums were tipped off by clenz--however Martin may change his mind about going to YSU once he finds out how hard we are recruiting Florida kids!
