The Navy Times said Curry responded through an online message when asked for comments and made it clear that he left of his “own will” and that he was neither “kicked out nor forced out.” The Navy Times shared that Curry intends to play for Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in the fall.

If we actually get this guy and add him to Bush, Reddic & Imade and utilize our FB (McVaney) we may not ever have to pass. :D

This is a huge pickup for TXST. Curry was the primary slot back and one of the top recievers for the Midshipmen in 2009 and he should have an immediate impact on the playing field. The Bobcats really did well in picking up this kid. :thumb: These were his stats last year:

Rushing: 80 Carries, 585 Yards, 5 TD's

Recieving: 10 Catches, 287 Yards, 3 TD's (longest being an 85 yard touchdown toss)

Am told he has already enrolled for the fall semester. We had two kids leave from last years team so we have the room.

How many years does he have left? He could be a big help since we aren;t sure how Bush will play after surgery and Reddic is still developing. I know he was a true freshman last year but he still hasn't wowed me yet.

2 years left
I was told tonight he is replacing Canady and he will only be an asset on KOR with Williams and whoever else they drop back.
