Eric Ward of Richmond signs with Falcons

Eric Ward has signed with the Falcons as a free agent. The Falcons are not exactly flush at the QB position after Matt Ryan so who knows...maybe he can stick.

Redman looked pretty decent last year when Ryan was out, though the falcons lost two of those games. You think Ward can beat out John Parker Wilson? That three spot on the Falcons roster seems to just sit there for a while. Check how long DJ Shockley was there as the third string before he finally got cut. But he got resigned too and sitting in the 4 spot currently.

Ward will probably end up moving to safety if qb doesnt work out
But hes still gotta make the team, so you never know

I think Ward will have a fine August camp there, back home, etc.
