Up-start UTSA coach Larry Coker, the man who led arguably the greatest college football team ever in the 2001 Miami Hurricanes to a National Championship, was in Norfolk today to take notes on how to begin a successful football program. Along with Coker came UTSA's athletic director, the coaching staff and equipment manager, and the school's biggest booster.

"The guy has a 60-15 career record. He doesn't need to learn any football from me.
"So I've got to give him major props for thinking outside the box and looking to us for some clues as to how to start a football program from scratch."
