UND has rounded out its 2010 football schedule finally with a road game at SDSU on November 20, with a return trip by SDSU to the Alerus in 2013.

I was getting worried for a while that we'd end up with another 10 game schedule. This rounds out a very tough road schedule for UND for 2010, as they play at Idaho, N Illinois, Montana, SDSU, Poly and USD. I'm really excited for the upcoming year.....

At least one FCS team in the state has an 11 game schedule this year...

I'm happy with this game, wouldn't have minded a more slack team with this years schedule, and would have much rathered it was the earlier dates we had open than the Nov. 20 date. But, I'm very glad we got a home game though cause we only had four, and with it being an oppenent with some history behind them, we should get a decent draw for how late in the year it is. We'll see how you like being outside in the cold thats for sure!

Good matchup = great that you could get it worked out.

Does anyone else think it is ironic that South Dakota will be playing North Dakota State and North Dakota will be playing South Dakota State? It looks like both states are afraid of starting their in-state rivalry

Why thank you good sir! Now that you mention it, it has to do with what SUUtbird brought up. And that is the level of hate between the instate schools. It was not a pretty situation when the rivalrys went on hold. Dead animals being thrown on bball courts, crap being smeared in the visitors locker rooms, brawls at every game. Not a very good situation. But one that continues whenever the dumbasses show up at our parties. (FYI, they are sissies). Both schools are trying to give it some time to cool off a bit more before the HAVE to start playing, which will happen eventually, and is already starting to happen in some sports. There are a decent sized faction for both SDSU and NDSU that say piss on them and never play them again. But alas, it is not meant to be. So we will end up playing the vermin from Vermintown. But thats just me, you kinda are whacking a hornets nest with that comment T-bird, jus warnin ya, and your innocent bystanding ass may well get drug into the mess if this turns into a turf war (not that there is enough yote fans for it to really happen, but ya never know)

I grew up in NW Iowa and have a good number of classmates/friends from other grades have gone to both schools
