What FCS schools still have JV teams?
I asuumed the Ivys (Yale and Princeton) still had JV teams, but it appears some NEC (Wagner, SFPA, and RMU) and PL (Lehigh) teams also play a JV schedule.

JV? What the hell? The job of the redshirts and scrubs is to be practice cannon fodder, not actual gametime glory.

Sorry for the cracks andy, normally I wouldn't make them, but for some reason I can't hold them back today.

Don't think for a second that kicker comments hurt my feelings.

Columbia has one. My buddies are the OC and DC (Ass'ts on the Varsity as well).
Always seemed weird to me to have a JV team for DI school. The guys that don't play are called "look" or "scout" team guys. They should be getting enough action during the week agains the #1s and 2s.

I always felt bad for the non-true freshman on the scout team.
There is a fine line between not being an "scout team all-american" and "brother-in-lawing" it.

Amen to that. Luckily I never had the "pleasure" of acting like some other team's QB. We had a guy that was a career scout QB. He loved it. Really took on the roll of the other QB.
The only thing worse than being a non-true frosh scout team player is being the Scout team coach.
I did have the unfortuante pleasure of throwing kickoffs during KOR walk-throughs my first year at Albany. Freakin kickers were all hurt.....wahh....

I enjoyed my year on the front line of scout KOR during onsides kicks. Those KO guys HATED me for getting the ball.

Montana has a JV team, I hear they call them the "Cats". They have a scrimmage now and then, just to see how they're progressing.
