Last time I was in San Marcos I loved the stadium. I especially like that both sides are 2-deck. The best part of it all has to be the endzone complex. However, the eyesore was the opposite endzone with the terrible locker room (if you wanna call it a locker room) and scoreboard...Have those been replaced or renovated yet?

No. The next phase is building a new track and field facility. That is to be done this summer. It is to the west of the stadium (I'm not sure exactly where, just where they tore down some old student housing...but the exact location eludes me). After that they will horseshoe in the north endzone (where that locker room and the scoreboard are) including new visitors facilities. That is expected for 2011/12. They need to do the track and field facility so that when they start more construction, they can over ride the current track; which will eventually be removed.
FYI - the north endzone will not actually touch either of the existing two stands. There will be a 1 inch (or less) gap to avoid some sort of building code violation (beyond my recollection)

that sounds great...it really is a great place to play and watch a football game and i am glad suu is heading back to san marcos this year then we have a two-year with UTSA...i am anxious to see what it looks like when it is finished...with us scheduling both you and UTSA so often iit makes me wonder f our administration is maybe considering a similar type move up (i know it's a longshot)...i think suu and tx st are very similar schools

When were you in SM last? Our scoreboard is 3 years old.
So you haven't seen the upgrade to the west side? It's impressive (at least it is to us) And our baseball/softball complex is in its second season.
