Potential Draft 2010 Surprises

Here are some players that could get drafted or will at least get signed and have the ability to make rosters that you have not seen much on in the media.

DT Sean Lissemore, William & Mary- I actually like him more than Tracy because he is a big body (6'4, 298) and has outstanding athletic ability, explosion, and speed. His pro day workout (30-inch vert, 36 reps, and 9'3 broad jump) vaulted him from a possible late round pick to a definite draft pick that could go as high as the 4th or 5th round.

DE Danny Batten, South Dakota State- Batten is a big undersized for end in a 4-3 but could be a 3-4 OLB or potential 4-3 ILB. He runs well and has a great motor. The pro day will likely cement his stock but if he performs as expected I could see him going anywhere from the late 5th to 7th round.

DE Dane Fletcher, Montana State- Fletcher is another potential conversion but at 6'1, 245 pounds and with 4.61 speed, strength (29 reps), and explosiveness (36-inch vertical, 9'3 broad jump) he is a good enough athlete to warrant at look at OLB. His production and motor also make him very interesting and perhaps could get him drafted in the 6th or 7th round.

DT David Howard, Brown- Howard is an athletic 3-technique type kid with good speed (5.03) who posted a solid workout with 27 reps and a 32-inch vertical. Don't be surprised if this two-time first-team All-Ivy League selection who boasts good strength and moves well lands in the latter rounds or is a highly sought after priority free agent.

OT Andrew Tyshovnytsky, Fordham- He was a late bloomer who turned in his first All-Patriot League honors this season but showed good bend, good athletic ability, and good feet during the season. His 4.91 40-yard dash, 33 reps, and 28-inch vertical showed his athleticism and could have potentially landed him in the 5th-7th round range.

I will have a few more potential names to bring to you once I verify some pro day information. Let me warn you guys that a lot of websites are producing pro day results but only one of them is legit so be careful of misinformation. :)

Lissemore was the man this year---probably the main reason teams could not run on us up the middle last year. Did not get too much hype, but laid it out every week.

LB ISAIAH GREENHOUSE, NORTHWESTERN STATE
Another player likely to make waves after his recent pro day with an impressive showing measuring in at 6'1 1/8, 242 pounds, and ran a 4.64 and 4.67 40-yard dash. He also jumped a 37 1/2-inch vertical, 9-foot-9 broad jump, 4.54 short shuttle, 7.59 3-cone, and 29 reps of 225. I have not seen his name on any draft websites and no buzz on him but Greenhouse is a player to watch. There are teams looking at him as a FB, which is no surprise considering that he could be a hammer at that position shown by his play on special teams. He has been a wedge buster during his career and a part-time starter at linebacker. Keep his name in your minds as I believe he will make a roster, if given a legit chance.
