They could go 5-6, possibly 6-5 if things work out. They have a stud O-line, but they're weak on team speed.

You should know by now don't post anything about NDSU

Why? I enjoy NDSU talk. And other than a few over the top Bison posters, no issues there. There are just as many obnoxious UNI, Montana, App and UD (especially UD) posters here.

I don't see them winning in Youngstown or Springfield or Cedar Falls.

Thats depends on who you ask

A couple of things about the UNI game, it will be UNI's first game of the season, and I believe it is the same weekend as the big Iowa/Iowa State game in Iowa. Two things that favor NDSU.

When NDSU comes to town its a big game. UNI? They could be a 500 team this year or worse. SIU is a challenge but if thats the best the MVFC has its not the big deal some of you think it is. The only "must win" on the schedule is SDSU. Look for the biggest crowd ever at the Fabulous Fargo Dome for that one. SIU will draw heavy too. Playing in Fargo will be among the largest crowds any of those schools will see this season, especially SIU.

Nobody even knew who NDSU was when you came up two years ago. It was just another game for UNI, and just another easy win. The game was over at half time.

Funny how excited UNI fans got about a win over a garbage program a few years ago.

Iowa State's head coach Paul Rhoads really has done wonders with his first year as the Cyclones coach in leading them to a bowl game victory of Minnesota. The Cyclones i think will continue to turn it around which means they wont be a garbage program anymore. Yes UNI did beat them in the past but this is a brand new ISU team and is alot different then the one UNI played a few years back.

They were 6-6, and went to a garbage bowl game. There are about 70 teams that play in bowl games, and 16 that play in the FCS playoffs.

Decent schedule. Critical to get wins this year if Bohl wants much of a future in Fargo, I'd think, and to keep the dome from looking like a ghosttown in 2011. Although I haven't been around, it sounds like an improved gameday experience (i.e. more people tailgating) sustained us through last year, but nothing makes a draw like having more points at the end of the game.
