Gotta admire the effort, but going for the hex here probably isn't necessaryD1B wrote:![]()

Nope. Board meetings all day today, with a hangover. I hate those. Got home at 5 and fell asleep. Just woke up. May do my 4.5 mile hill run, in the rain, after a couple scoops of Jack3d.grizzaholic wrote:Drinking again tonight?D1B wrote:![]()

hey we are smarter than that. We usually buy more than a case at a time.....jd of de wrote:"A recent study conducted by Harvard University found that the average Montanan walks about 900 miles a year. Another study by the American Medical Association found that Montanans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
This means, on average, Montanan get about 41 miles to the gallon..
Kind Of Makes You Proud To Be An Montanan"
The other math;
900 miles / 12 months = 75 miles per month.
22 gals is 2,816 oz / 12 months = 235 oz per month.
So if I have the math right, on average if you live in Montana you walk 75 miles (round trip) to buy a case of beer each month? Damn.
I don't think that there is one single Griz home game that I haven't drank a case of beer on that one day of the week let alone the rest of the gamedays that month and the drinking during the week to keep the machine oiled. A vast majority of the peops that I hang out with do the same thing so there must be one hell of a lot of people NOT drinking in Montana to have that avg. down where it is.jd of de wrote:"A recent study conducted by Harvard University found that the average Montanan walks about 900 miles a year. Bull-SHIT. You're still drinking the beer I bought you in July of LAST year.Grizo406 wrote:I have at least one beer at every Griz home game. If it's a playoff game, I usually have two.
I can't argue with that...AZGrizFan wrote:Bull-SHIT. You're still drinking the beer I bought you in July of LAST year.Grizo406 wrote:I have at least one beer at every Griz home game. If it's a playoff game, I usually have two.![]()

Exactly. There's no way the Griz will do that this year because this is the Year of the Tiger.bench wrote:Gotta admire the effort, but going for the hex here probably isn't necessaryD1B wrote:![]()

Geez, I'm a diehard Griz fan and even I can't provide an answer to that one. I think it's just another prime example of a Pavlovian response--D1B sees "Montana" and he automatically spits out "Montana's gonna win!".Fresno St. Alum wrote:what does this have to do with fcs football?
Why not? Another great story line----Blaine Taylor, former Montana coach and player....andy7171 wrote:I sure hope Montana doesn't meet up with ODU.
I still want to play Vill. in basketball, won't happen this year, but it would be fun.AZGrizFan wrote:Why not? Another great story line----Blaine Taylor, former Montana coach and player....andy7171 wrote:I sure hope Montana doesn't meet up with ODU.![]()
